José M. Angulo

Bio: José M. Angulo is a full professor in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research at the University of Granada (Spain), and a member of the Math Institute of the University of Granada (IMAG). His research areas of interest include random fields, information and complexity-based structural analysis, modelling and extremal analysis in space-time processes, and risk assessment. Among other editorial activities, he was co-EiC of the journal TEST (Springer) during the period 2021-2024. He served as president of the Spanish Society of Statistics and Operations Research (SEIO), years 2010-2013. Since 2016, he is a numerary member of the Academy of Mathematical, Physico- Chemical and Natural Sciences of Granada.
